How do you clean your Mach3 blades?
Mach3 blades are simple to clean. After every few strokes, simply rinse the cartridge in water. Repeat this regularly to remove any trapped hairs, so you can continue to enjoy an efficient shave. Rinse your cartridge more thoroughly when you’ve finished shaving, then store your razor somewhere it can air dry, such as on a Mach3 Razor Stand or Gillette’s universal mini hanger. Always avoid tapping your razor on a hard surface or wiping it on a towel because this can damage its precisely built blades, shortening their lifespan.
How often should you replace Mach3 blades?
The Mach3 cartridge is designed to offer up to 15 comfortable shaves. If the blades feel duller than usual or the Lubrastrip has worn, it’s time to change the blades. Click the easy-release button behind the cartridge and take a new one from your value pack. Attach the handle to the cartridge; when it snaps into place, you’ll hear a click. You can also use Mach3 Turbo 3D blades, since they’re designed to be compatible with Mach3 Turbo handles which have a grey/metal finish. Note that these cartridges are also interchangeable with Mach3 razor handles in black or a Mach3 Start handle in blue for complete versatility.
